Bed Extension for Powermatic 3520B Lathe

With this heavy-duty extension, you can increase the spindle turning capacity of your Powermatic 3520B lathe (#711660, sold separately) to 52-1/2''—well over four feet long. It can also be used with the PM2020 Short Bed Lathe (#51437, sold separately). The extension can be mounted in the outboard position for comfortable turning of very large bowls and platters up to 38'' in diameter. There are two outboard mounting positions: one level with the bed, and another 9'' lower for the largest workpieces. The bed extension is made from heavy, durable cast iron, and includes a solid steel extension post to raise your tool rest when the extension is mounted in the lower position.
