Commander Cutlass Imperial Forstner Bits

Whether you're building furniture, installing cabinet hardware or completing a DIY project, these fully forged high-carbon steel Forstner bits will bore clean, flat-bottomed holes in hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, MDF, particleboard and laminated wood products. Their CNC-ground edges help reduce top-edge tearout, while internal cutting edges lift and eject material to minimize heat and extend bit life. The three-flat shank provides a secure grip in the drill chuck, and their center brad point ensures precise registration on your layout mark.

Available in a wide range of imperial sizes from 1/4'' to 3-1/2'', these Austrian bits are a cut above the competition. You can also purchase them in 7-, 10- and 16-piece boxed assortments (#76933, #78958 and #79177, sold separately).
