With its robust steel undercarriage and 3/8''-thick anodized aluminum top plate, the Mast-R-Lift II is designed to be one of the most durable router lifts available. Its carriage rides on a pair of 3/4'' solid-steel shafts and double-sealed bearings for smooth, even router travel up and down. A 16 threads-per-inch spindle allows you to adjust bit height by 1/16'' per crank handle rotation, then refine the setting in 0.001'' increments. Patented anti-backlash provisions and a cam lock ensure that your bit height stays exactly where you want it during operation.
Mast-R-Lift II has an adjustable clamping block system that accommodates many popular fixed-base router motors (see below). Regardless of which motor you install, the lift allows for above-the-table router bit changes. Three Tab-Loc insert rings suit many bit diameters and install or remove from the lift with a quarter turn of the included wrench.
