While owning a JessEm Sword T-Square won't guarantee you an invitation to King Arthur's Round Table, it will help raise your "woodshop warrior" status as you conquer a new level of measuring and marking precision! JessEm has added an ergonomic handle to the aluminum head of the T-square, making it easier to hold and position than other typical T-squares. Also unique to this design are a pair of switch-activated, retractable balancing tabs that stabilize the head when it is set against the edge of a workpiece, so the tool is less likely to tip and fall.
Available in four lengths from 6'' to 24'' (#73901, #75726, #79684 and #76254, all sold separately), the blades are etched and engraved with inch markings on one face and metric on the other. A series of notches inside the blade are spaced 1/16'' and 1mm apart for scribing parallel lines with a mechanical pencil. And unlike typical T-squares, the blades also have patented Flex Grip tabs that prevent them from slipping out of position when you are taking measurements or drawing lines. Just press down on the textured tabs to anchor the T-square where you want it.
