This hollow-core bit produce face-grain plugs in the correct diameter to fit Kreg's Micro pocket holes. It is used with the Kreg Custom Pocket Hole Plug Cutter System (#61252, sold separately). The positive stop collar ensures the perfect drilling depth for accurately sized plugs, while the open design and enlarged inside diameter provide clearance around the plug for easier drilling. The fluting reduces heat and friction, and the multi-tooth cutting tip shears cleanly for smooth, consistent plugs.
