The Woodcut Tools Bowlsaver Light Guide was developed for owners of the Bowlsaver Original and Max4 as an aid when coring bowl blanks. Setting up and coring a bowl is much easier with the Bowlsaver Light Guide. It is the optimal way to establish where the blade is going to cut the wood blank. The laser dot swings along the same arc as the cutter, showing exactly where the cutter will track as it plunges into the blank.
Bowlsaver Laser Light Guide Details:
Compatible with both the Bowlsaver Original and Max4 bowl coring systems
Vertical post fixes to the Bowlsaver base plate; horizontal arm holds the laser light pointer
Setup is a simple; just align the light vertically above the cutting tip of the Bowlsaver blade
As the blade advances into the bowl blank, you can track its arc by swinging the light point over the outside of the bowl blank
This innovative solution is a great aid to checking progress and obtaining more predictable bowl shapes
Drilling, sawing, sanding or machining wood products can expose you to wood dust, a substance known to the State of California to cause cancer. Avoid inhaling wood dust or use a dust mask or other safeguards for personal protection. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov/wood
