This adapter for the Veritas Mk.II Standard Honing Guide (#76389, sold separately) expands its blade-holding capacity to allow consistent, accurate honing of mortise chisels. It increases the space between the roller base and the Narrow Blade Clamping Head (#73697, sold separately) to accommodate the thicker blades of mortise chisels, holding blades up to 11/16'' thick. Cast from a zinc-aluminum alloy.
