When our author had a chance to snatch a walnut log more than a century old, one of the (many!) beautiful results is this set of three nesting tables. It's truly a project that characterizes a "stump-to-finish" approach. You don't need to fell a tree to build three of your own tables - just a trip to the lumberyard and a weekend or so of time.
