Next Wave CNC Shark Vacuum Pod 6'' x 12''

Put an end to the hassles of working with conventional clamps when you equip your Next Wave CNC machine with one or more of these handy vacuum pods. Once connected to a suitable vacuum pump (not included—see Note, below), a vacuum pod provides a broad area of suction that will hold flat workpieces securely to the table during machining. Rapid on/off airflow control makes vacuum pods helpful for production situations where quick part installation and removal improves efficiency. Multiple pods can be plumbed together to create an even larger contact surface. Made of high-quality HDPE, the pod comes with vacuum hose, T-splitter and required mounting hardware.

Note: Must be connected to a vacuum pump (not included) for operation. Next Wave recommends using a pump that provides a minimum flow rate of 3 CFM and develops a vacuum pressure of at least 20 in/HG (67.73 kPa or 0.6773 BAR). Higher flow rates may be necessary for multi-pod configurations.
