Peruvian Walnut by the Piece-1/2'' Thickness

Though commonly referred to as Peruvian walnut, this wood is more accurately ''tropical walnut'' since it only sometimes hails from Peru. It is also often called ''Nogal,'' Spanish for walnut. Peruvian walnut's heartwood is typically darker than domestic black walnut, and sometimes has a purplish cast with bands of lighter brown within the heartwood. Like black walnut, it is a pleasure to work with, and stains and finishes nicely. It even has a similar woody aroma. Since the thicknessing is already done for you, you'll save wear and tear on your machinery and get to focus on the more enjoyable parts of your craft.
