Purpleheart Turning Blanks
Initially a dull brown, purpleheart takes on the brilliant royal hue that it's famous for shortly after the wood is cut. Only the heartwood is purple; the sapwood is creamy, pinkish cinnamon. These blanks are almost entirely heartwood, and are dimensioned for a variety of spindle turnings. They can also be resawn into blanks for pens, knife scales, bottle stoppers and much more.
