Fitted in the pocket of the long V-arm on a Rikon Pro Sharpening System (#78179, sold separately), this jig holds woodturning gouges for sharpening consistent bevels and profiles repeatably with your bench grinder. The jig's clamp accommodates tool shafts from 3/16'' to 1-3/8'' thick and up to 1-9/16'' wide. It adjusts up to 40°, so you can grind custom bevels to match your tools and turning preference—from simple bevels to side grind variations, including the fingernail grind.
