It's powered by a 4HP, 230-volt TEFC motor, for rugged performance. The jointer and planer tables are made of thick cast iron, machined smooth for efficient stock handling. The one-piece jointer tables lift up and out of the way quickly and easily to change over to planer use, minimizing downtime. Two rows of four-sided carbide insert cutters cut cleanly through hardwoods, softwoods, figured and interlocked-grain lumber. When one nicks or dulls, just loosen and rotate it to a fresh edge, then retighten. A large digital readout tracks the planer's cutting depth, for pinpoint accuracy.
