Coated with fine Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) abrasives—one of the hardest materials besides diamond—this ProSeries Double-Sided Sharpening Stone will put a sharp edge on your hardened, heat-treated steel tools including chisels, plane irons, gouges, knives and other cutting instruments. It features two different grits—150 and 250—the coarser side helpful for removing nicks and the finer side for refining the final edge. Unlike other typical sharpening stones, the abrasive is bonded to a 3/8''-thick steel plate that will not wear into a hollow shape with use. It remains flat and never needs dressing.
