This 22'' model with large tilting table, all-metal base and variable speed will ensure that those sorts of cutting projects are enjoyable and efficient. Just install a 5'' pinless blade, twist the dial to set the cutting speed you need and start cutting! The table tilts up to 30° left and 45° right for making angled cuts, and a built-in dust blower will help to keep the cutting area cleaner. Or connect the saw's dust port with 90° dust fitting to a shop vacuum or dust extractor hose for dust containment.
