Precolor Easy is a family of optional wood stains that can be used prior to a topcoat of Rubio Oil Plus 2C (sold separately). Available in 14 shades, all of which can be intermixed to create custom colors, Precolor Easy greatly expands your options for complimentary and contrasting colors. The stains may also be combined with different colors of Oil Plus 2C to create even more effects. Once dry, Precolor Easy won't interfere with the molecular bonding technology of Oil Plus 2C.

Note: This product is a pre-treatment and does not protect the wood. It must be topcoated with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C.
Color Note: Color after application can vary widely depending on the wood species. Main color swatches shown are on white oak, and are only an approximation. We recommend testing colors first before final finishing.
Important: Before applying Precolor Easy, use Rubio Wood Cleaner (#77596, sold separately) to remove residual dust. This will ensure that the final finish bonds to the wood, and not to the dust.
