This is an accessory planing head for the Festool Planer HL 850 E-F-Plus (#61999, sold separately). It features a convex profile for creating a scalloped or hand-hewn effect in solid wood, as though planed with a cambered hand plane. The head comes complete with a durable, precision-ground HSS blade pre-installed, and cuts are clean thanks to the spiral orientation of the blade.
