Made of nylon web with aluminum oxide abrasives, the wet/dry green and gray sanding pads in this kit are designed for final hand-sanding and lightly buffing rough wood surfaces to feel smooth again. The white wet/dry nylon pad is ideal for hand-applying Walrus Oil wood finishes and for final buffing to remove any excess finish residue between coats. It has no grit and will not scratch or sand the wood surface. Nonwoven pads deliver an extremely fine and clean hand-sanded surface like steel wool, but without the mess and risk of metal particles that can leave rust stains. They can be reused several times before discarding.
