Yorkshire Grit Wood and Resin Turners Abrasive Paste

Yorkshire Grit is an abrasive paste that eliminates all sanding above 240-grit, reducing dust in your shop prior to finishing, and reducing the time and expense of a long series of traditional abrasives. Use the Original version for wood turnings, prior to applying your finish of choice. For an even finer finish, follow the Original with Microfine, and then apply the finish of your choice. For resin and hybrid pieces, Yorkshire Grit Microfine results in a rich gloss, and is the final step before buffing. Both products contain a hand-blended mix of mineral oil, beeswax and abrasive powders that are carefully processed without the use of solvents or other strong-smelling or potentially harmful chemicals. The result is a creamy paste—''liquid sandpaper''—that breaks down to an even finer grit as it is used.

Yorkshire Grit Details:

• Yorkshire Grit Original is equivalent to approximately 1000-grit sandpaper
• Yorkshire Grit Microfine is equivalent to approximately 2000-grit sandpaper
• Simple to apply, just rub on, then switch on the lathe and let the paste do the work
• On wood turnings, apply your choice of finish after using either version of Yorkshire Grit
• On resin turnings, proceed to buffing after applying Yorkshire Grit Microfine
