Festool Guide Rail Base Adapter for Carvex Jigsaws (497303)

The Festool 497303 Base Adapter installs without tools on all all Festool Carvex Jigsaws. In combination with your guide rail, on either the left or right side, straight cuts can be achieved on wood up to 20mm thick. When used with the Circle Cutter Attachment (#79376, sold separately), circles nearly 10' in diameter can be cut. The adapter is also required for installation in the Compact Module System (CMS).

Note: For straight cuts with pendulum jigsaws and guide rails, we suggest using our special ''Trion'' S 75/4 FSG saw blades (gold coloured blades, available in three lengths). These blades are extremely stable and therefore allow accurate angle cuts.
