Genesis pen blanks are made of a cellular composite material similar to Inlace Acrylester. Thanks to the organic mesh used to structure the blank, however, they offer improved workability. The cellular mesh also creates an eye-catching ''honeycomb'' structure running the short way through the blank. Once the pen is finished, the pattern will change dramatically as you rotate the pen 90°, emulating the change between flatsawn and quartersawn in a wooden blank. This pattern is called Ink Blot, a stunning blend of ink black and paper white.
