When paired with the Mast-R-Lift Excel II Lift, this router lift is the workhorse of the router table market. With a sleek design, side crank handle, double gear box, double sealed bearings and hydraulic-pressed shafts; this lift is the most precise and easy-to-use router lift there is. This lift uses an enhanced bearing system with double sealed bearings in the lift spindle. Paired with the height adjustment mechanism (actuated through two gear boxes) and Cam Lock, this lift guarantees exceptional longevity and smooth operation. Designed to handle even the heaviest routers on the market, the Excel II effortlessly raises and lowers with precision. Incorporate is a patented tensioning feature that eliminates backlash, while adding the right amount of resistance to the spindle's rotation. This minimizes vibration from thread clearance and prevents unintended spindle movement during routing. Going beyond the patented tensioning feature, we've added a dedicated locking mechanism for heavy-duty, long-term routing tasks. Easily accessible from the same location as the crank handle, a simple twist secures the Excel II firmly in place, providing confidence when making height adjustments. The shafts on the Mast-R-Lift Excel II are securely pressed into a larger diameter mount using hydraulic pressure. Multiple screws fasten the shafts to the top plate, distributing lateral loads for a rigid and durable mount capable of withstanding the toughest routing operations. All machined components on the Mast-R-Lift Excel II, including the phenolic table top, are meticulously crafted on our CNC mills at our Canadian facility. Non-wear aluminum components on the lift are anodized for enhanced appearance, corrosion resistance, and added wear resistance. The underside of the table is pre-drilled to accommodate our TA Fence, Mast-R-Fence II, Mast-R-Fence III, Rout-R-Fence II, Heavy Duty Steel Stand, and ALTS Stand. Table top dimensions: 24'' x 32'', with a sturdy 3/4'' thickness.
