Low-viscosity resin has excellent self-leveling properties—combine with MAS Fast, Medium and Slow Hardeners (sold separately) to create custom gel times.
MAS Low-Viscosity (LV) Resin is one component of a non-blushing, low-odor epoxy resin system. Thanks to its thinner consistency, it easily laminates large areas of fiberglass or carbon cloth when paired with Slow Hardener. It's also ideal for saturation coating because of its self-leveling properties, and is compatible with vacuum bagging applications. Use it with MAS Fast, Medium or Slow Hardeners (e.g. #78974, sold separately) for the curing characteristics you require, and combine the hardeners, if you wish, to create custom gel times. Low-Viscosity Resin may also be mixed with MAS FLAG Medium-Viscosity Resin (#70666, sold separately) to adjust the viscosity. LV resin has a simple 2-to-1 mix ratio by volume. MAS Fillers such as phenolic microballoons, colloidal silica or wood flour may be added to the epoxy resin to make compounds for bonding, fairing, filleting or filling.
