Corner is precision-ground at 10mm square (0.39'')—great for cleaning out the ends of mortises or squaring the corners of hinge recesses after using a router.
With a 10mm tip precision-ground at 90°, the Narex Corner Chisel is ideally suited for squaring the ends of through-mortises for a clean finished joint, or squaring the corners of hinge recesses after initial routing. Forged from alloyed chrome-manganese steel and heat-treated to 59 HRC, the blade is accurately machined at 10 x 10mm square. The stained and waxed hornbeam handle sits comfortably in the hand. A brass ferrule secures the tang to the handle with a maximum working depth of approximately 60mm (2.36'').
