Any time you change router bits on your CNC machine, you also need to reset the Z-axis to zero to ensure accurate machining depths. This precision-machined touch plate from Next Wave Automation makes that critical operation fast and easy. Simply lower the router bit until it contacts the touch plate, then follow the on-screen prompts to set your height. The touch plate is a must-have for engraving, especially on acrylics, metals and circuit boards, and also for using the Virtual Zero software included with most Next Wave Automation machines. Connecting the touch plate is easy—just plug one end into the pendant and attach the magnet to the collet or bit. Comes complete with a manual and heavy-duty cable that features a molded magnet holder and a 6' coiled cord.
