Next Wave Shark Dual-Sided Vacuum Pod

Designed with woodworkers in mind, the Shark Dual-Sided Vacuum Pod is a reliable and efficient workholding solution that replaces conventional clamps. Once connected to a suitable vacuum pump (not included—see note below), it draws air through both sides for securing workpieces to worksurfaces without the need for additional clamps or other attachment hardware. Use it for routing, sanding, CNC use and many other shop applications.

This vacuum pod works best with non-porous materials such as plastics, metals and sealed woods. MDF and other porous materials may require additional setup to achieve the proper vacuum hold.

Note: Must be connected to a vacuum pump (not included) for operation. Next Wave recommends using a pump that provides a minimum flow rate of 3 CFM and develops a vacuum pressure of 20 to 25 in/HG. Higher flow rates may be necessary for multi-pod configurations.
