Once installed in your Oliver Model 4016 10'' Table Saw (#72752, #74834, #76493 or #79687, all sold separately), just raise the blade up through this phenolic Zero Clearance Table Insert to cut a custom blade opening with minimal gap. The zero-clearance effect better supports wood fibers right up to the blade to reduce tearout. It also prevents thin or small offcuts from falling down inside the blade opening, where they're harder to remove and increase the chances for kickback.
