Osage Orange has a rich, golden tone that ages to a warm shade of brown with exposure to light. The wood is extremely stable and durable, with a fine to medium texture and plentiful natural luster. It is an ideal wood for turnery, where its hardness makes turning and polishing easy. These turning blanks are dimensioned at 6'' square by 2'' tall for small bowls and platters.
