Rikon 4-Piece Woodturning System with Carbide Inserts 70-800

Developed for both novice and experienced woodturners, this turning system features tungsten carbide cutters that keep their sharp edges longer than typical carbon or high-speed steel tools, and they don't require special grinding and sharpening skills. After many hours of use when a cutter becomes dull, just loosen its mounting screw and rotate the cutter to a new side of the edge.

The kit includes a 16''-long, machined aluminum handle and a forward internal chucking system for attaching the shafts to the handle. Simply unscrew the knurled chuck collet to insert any of the three supplied shafts with carbide cutters, tighten the chuck collar and you are ready to turn! The circle-, square- and diamond-shaped cutters will help you make a range of stock removal and fine detailing cuts on bowls, spindles, platters and more.
