The bigger brother to Rikon's 10'' Benchtop Jointer 20-1000H (#75552), this model adds another 2'' of cutting width and offers outstanding value, when compared to the cost of other 12'' floor-standing jointers! Its helical-style cutterhead has 24 high-speed steel insert cutters with two sharp edges, for taming hardwood, softwood and figured lumber with equal ease. When the inserts dull or nick, just loosen and rotate them to the other sharp edge so you can keep working. The jointer has all-metal construction, and its cast-iron tables have pull-out extensions on the ends to expand the overall work surface to 54'' long. Its fence tilts 45°, for jointing angled edges. A quick-setting depth mechanism lets you adjust the cutting depth up to 1/8'' deep, and 4'' or 2-1/2'' dust port options will help keep dust and debris to a minimum.
