Its mostly cast-iron construction helps the machine stay planted during turning and dampens vibration that can lead to rough cuts. The 10'' swing over bed and 18'' distance between centers will be sufficient to turn small bowls, pens, tool handles, spindles and more. Five pulley speed ranges are easy to adjust, when switching from rough turning to refined shaping to final sanding and polishing.
