Rikon PROseries CBN Wheels, 8'' x 1-1/4'' with Radiused 1'' Sides

Precision-machined from solid-aluminum, these wheels are bonded with fine Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) abrasives—one of the hardest materials besides diamond. Mounted on your low-speed grinder, they will put razor-sharp edges on your hardened, heat-treated steel tools including woodturning and carving gouges, chisels, plane irons and other cutting instruments. Rikon PROseries CBN wheels cut quickly with minimal pressure. Unlike aluminum oxide and other typical grinding wheel abrasives, CBN remains cool during use, and the solid-metal wheel never needs dressing or shaping. The 1/4''-radiused edges make it easy to grind small hollowing bits and round scrapers. This eliminates the problem of having to rotate a tool by the handle and accidentally over-grinding the tip.

These wheels fit Rikon and other 8'' grinders and sharpening systems with 5/8'' arbors that accept 1-1/4''-wide wheels.
