Robert Sorby SteadyPRO Tool Rest Jig

The Robert Sorby SteadyPro Tool Rest provides incredibly stable support for a variety of turning tools and operations, especially hollowing. It uses dual rollers—one that supports the tool on the underside in the traditional way, and a second that provides support on the top, letting you use light prying pressure to precisely position the tool. Thanks to the roller supports, moving the tool in and out is smooth and fluid. The tool rest is adjustable so you can position the cutting edge exactly where needed. Use with any of the stems from the Robert Sorby modular tool rest system (e.g. #26598, sold separately).
