Sure, those inexpensive plastic-handled corn cob holders we've all used at some point serve a purpose. But imagine the kudos you'll get at your next barbecue when you pass around a set of custom corn cob holders with handles you've turned yourself! Our hardware is made of brushed, food-grade stainless steel for optimal corrosion resistance. The all-metal holders have pairs of tines that are solidly secured, and their studs thread into the included #8-32 inserts. Turning the handles is easy! Just drill a hole into a blank of wood, resin or other material of your choice. Twist the insert into the hole so you can mount the handle blank onto a Turning Mandrel with 1/2'' Shoulder (#74802, sold separately). Install the mandrel in a lathe drill chuck, and then let creativity be your guide to shape each one-of-a-kind handle!
