Block's right-angle design straddles both a face and an edge to preserve squareness and keep the corner sharp while you sand—no more uneven surfaces or rounded corners.
Ordinary flat sanding blocks can't prevent a workpiece edge from falling out of square while you sand it, and it's easy to accidentally round over the corner in the process. Our clever PSA Sanding Block with its square inside corner will make these sorts of mishaps a thing of the past. One inner face is lined with a hook-and-loop, Low-Friction Nylon Pad that glides on the reference surface adjacent to the edge you're sanding. The block's other inner face accepts a strip of our durable, cloth-backed 2-3/4''-wide Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Sanding Rolls (#72001, sold separately). A small, angled relief area protects the workpiece corner from being rounded over. The 8''-long block with soft rubber overmold is easy to grip and control, even with a sweaty hand.
