Wood Lathe Tailstock Live Center, MT1

Precision ball bearings bring you the smoothest possible turning with greater speed capabilities, and no need to lubricate. Live centers also allow greater clamping pressures while still retaining their incredibly smooth rotation. This center is precision machined to a 60 degree point and includes a #1 morse taper. Also available for #2 morse taper (#43472, sold separately).

Note: Check the manual for your lathe to determine whether your tailstock accepts a #1 or #2 morse taper. This is always the best way to verify. Alternatively, you can measure the hole. A #1 morse taper fits into a hole approximately 0.475'' in diameter. A #2 morse taper fits into a hole approximately 0.7'' in diameter.
