Double-faced sleeves feature serrated steel inserts and overmolded rubber notches to grip a wide range of pipe compositions, from soft copper to hard cast iron—fits the Work IQ Vise (#73951, sold separately).
Pipes are some of the trickier objects to clamp well, and their composition affects the amount and type of pressure you can apply to the vise without causing damage. But you'll be covered for a variety of pipe types—from soft PVC to hard galvanized—when you mount these purpose-built, double-faced jaw sleeves on your Work IQ Vise (#73951, sold separately). The face with serrated steel inserts is perfect for securing cast-iron or galvanized pipe for cutting, deburring or tightening. The opposite face is made of overmolded rubber with V-shaped notches that provide a secure grip on softer pipes, such as PVC, ABS and copper. You can also use this side for gripping bicycle frames, string trimmer shafts, chainsaw handles or other tubular objects with finishes that require protection.
These sleeves fit a Work IQ Vise only and are held in place with the jaw locking pins that come with the vise.
