The dense hardwoods—Brownheart, Purpleheart, Maple, Wenge and Zebrawood—will hold up to the rigors of life on the chopping block. Properly maintained, wooden cutting boards can have an indefinite lifespan, and they can always be renewed with a little woodworking know-how. Just sand out the scratches and reapply the cutting board oil of your choice. The edges are pre-milled to provide a strong glue joint. We recommend a waterproof glue for assembly.
