Rockler Ulu Knife Hardware Kit

Ulu knives date back thousands of years to the indigenous peoples of what we now know as Greenland, Canada and Alaska, but they have found a place in many modern kitchens thanks to their ease of use. Just rock back and forth for finely minced herbs and thin-sliced vegetables. This kit lets you build a custom modern version of this curved-blade tool by adding your own handle to the included stainless steel hardware.

• Top-quality stainless steel blade features elegant details and continuous bottom curve
• Add a handle from the material of your choice
• Slots in handle area provide anchor points for epoxy
• Curved-cutter design provides better leverage by locating force directly above blade
• 6-3/8'' long blade (with 7'' long cutting arc)
• To make handle construction easier, blade is 3/32'' thick—the same thickness as a cut made by a thin-kerf saw blade
• Included 5/32'' diameter stainless steel pins can be used along with epoxy to secure handle to blade and add decorative element
• Includes matching plastic sheath to protect blade edge in between uses
