These clip-on spring-loaded guides direct downward and inward pressure on workpieces during rip cuts to improve cutting accuracy and help prevent kickbacks.
Designed to fit most industrial, cabinet, contractor and jobsite table saws (see note, below), these Clear-Cut STS Stock Guides will help guide your rip cuts by holding workpieces securely against the fence while you feed them through the cut. A pair of spring-loaded, high-performance guide rollers with urethane tires are mounted at a 5° inward angle toward the fence, which improves their grip on workpieces and eliminates any lateral movement away from the fence. One-way roller bearings rotate only in the direction of feed, dramatically reducing the possibility of kickback.
The stock guides can be adjusted in and out as well as vertically to suit different stock widths and thicknesses. They lock in position with a twist of a ratcheting handle. When not needed, just unclip the guide assemblies from their mounting plates so they won't interfere with other cutting operations. Offering 2-1/2'' of total vertical travel, these guides can handle a wide range of stock thicknesses.
