Benefitting from the proven pedigree of the larger lathes in Laguna's Revo line, this 10|14 Benchtop Lathe includes similar performance and features in a compact 10'' format. Its Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) 1HP induction motor delivers constant torque across a variable-speed range, so it will never starve for power, even when you're turning at low speed or making heavy cuts. Changing speeds within each of the three pulley speed ranges is as easy as twisting a dial. The lathe offers 10'' of swing capacity for turning bowls or other large projects and up to 14'' between centers for spindle work. The 6'' tool rest has a hardened-steel edge that resists nicks while providing a smooth contact surface for tools. And thanks to a protruding nose cone on the headstock, you'll enjoy improved tool access when turning the backsides of large workpieces mounted on a faceplate or scroll chuck.

Expand the lathe's spindle-turning capacity to 24'' by adding an optional cast-iron bed extension (#78342, sold separately).
