Drill rows of perfectly spaced shelf pin holes in assembled or unassembled cabinets using your handheld drill—includes 1/4'' and 5mm self-centering drill bits and handy indexing pins.
Our easy-to-use Shelf Pin Drilling Jig lets you drill rows of evenly spaced shelf pin holes in assembled or unassembled cabinets using just a handheld drill. Its sturdy acrylic drilling plate features two rows of holes with 32mm hole spacing along their length. The jig is auto-indexing, so you can position rows of holes on your cabinet sides either by hooking its blue fence over an exposed edge or by butting the jig's un-fenced edge up against the cabinet's installed back panel or face frame. Then, choose either the nearer (37mm) or farther (64mm) row of holes for drilling to establish the setback distance you prefer. We include both 1/4''- and 5mm-diameter self-centering drill bits and indexing pins to make this repetitive drilling process easy.
Rockler Shelf Pin Drilling Jig Details:
Drill rows of perfectly spaced shelf pin holes 32mm apart in assembled or unassembled cabinets
Works with both face frame and frameless style cabinets
Choose 37mm or 64mm setbacks for row positions—the 64mm setback is helpful when clearance must be left for Euro-style hinge bodies
Self-centering drill bits in 1/4'' and 5mm sizes speed the drilling process along; their spring-loaded design retracts the bit when you release downward pressure on the drill
Rotating nylon bushings on the bit housings help to square them with the jig and protect the jig plate from scratches during drilling
Includes 1/4'' and 5mm indexing pins for repositioning the jig to drill longer rows of holes while maintaining consistent hole spacing
Fence features convenient onboard storage of drill bits and indexing pins
Jig plate is clearly marked for choosing setbacks and the correct holes to use with indexing pins
